How long does the Direct Debit take to set up?
Your direct debit will normally show up as ‘active’ within your banks Direct Debit tab within 1 business day. However, this can vary per bank so it may take longer.
It can take 3 business days from when you’ve signed up for the direct debit for it to appear in your transactions.
Do not start any account switch until you have confirmed that the direct debit has been successfully set up.
Once the direct debit has been successfully created all subsequent payments will be taken from the setup date.
Can I cancel the Direct Debit?
You can cancel your Direct Debit at any time through your bank either online, via their app or by phone and you are protected by the Direct Debit guarantee. If for any reason you are unable to cancel via your bank, you can contact us at info@easydebit.co.uk
How many Direct Debits can I set up?
There are no limits on the number of direct debits you can set up, you can set up as many direct debits as you need. Just repeat the set up process as many times as needed.
Is my information safe?
The direct debits are set-up and collected by Stripe. When you set up your direct debit you will be transferred to Stripe to put in your details. We ‘Easy Debit’ do not store or have access to your bank details. Stripe uses strong encryption to keep all your details safe. For more information regarding Stripe’ security features click here
Do you offer custom Direct Debits?

Do I need to use my main bank account?
No, you can use any eligible account for setting up direct debits to qualify for bank switching offers.
